Cosmogenic nuclides dating technique (CN) represents the state of the art of Plio-Pleistocene dating techniques, and is in full advance. It requires the access and use of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS), which is a major and costly capability. We will have the sample preparation facility for CN studies, and will make use of the AMS facility at PRIME laboratory, or Lawrence Livermore Laboratory (USA). The goal of the complex sample preparation laboratory is to extract aluminum and beryllium from quartz grains.
