Geoarchaeology of archaeo-palaentological sites
This research line wants to decipher the processes responsible for the formation of archaeo-palaeontological successions, under a geoarchaeological and multidisciplinary perspective. The aim is to understand the mutual interactions between natural and anthropic processes, both syn- and postdepositional, in order to reconstruct the taxonomy, representativeness, degree of integrity and conservation of archaeo-palaeontological assemblages.
