En esa misma Web se irá creando una galería de imágenes y podrás votar la que más te guste, si bien la decisión final recaerá sobre los miembros del jurado que valorarán los trabajos presentados. Cada participante podrá concursar con un solo trabajo. Categorías

Come to CENIEH to discover the mysteries of the teeth in the Ratón Pérez workshop organized by the Group of Dental Anthropology, and learn in an easy and fun way on dental anatomy of modern humans and fossil hominids, in 30 minute sessions, designed to Children between 4 and 10 years. The last session is at 20:30 h.

Award ceremony of the contest "Draw a Research" held at the premises of the National Research Centre on Human Evolution, 24 September, within the activities falling under the "Night of the researchers." The awards are presented at the Hall of CENIEH by hands of the jury composed of: Jose Maria Bermudez de Castro (Director of CENIEH), Eduardo Saiz (scientific illustrator) and María Amor Barros (Head of Communication and External Relations at CENIEH).

"Conquering the north: the early colonization of Britain"
PARTICIPANTS: Nicholas Ashton, senior curator at the Dept. of Prehistory and Europe, British Museum, Simon Parfitt paleontologist from the Natural History Museum, and Simon Lewis geologist from the University of London.
They are going to talk about the first human settlements in the Britain Islands, particularly about the Pakefield and Happisburgh sites. The lecture will last 45 minutes, and there will be 15 minute question time.

Did you know that our teeth are like fingerprints? Come to CENIEH to discover the mysteries of the teeth in the Ratón Pérez workshop organized by the Group of Dental Anthropology, and learn in an easy and fun way on dental anatomy of modern humans and fossil hominids, in 30 minute sessions, designed to Children between 4 and 10 years. The last session is at 20:30 h.

Awards in the contest "Draw a researcher" in the Researchers' Night.
Award ceremony of the contest "Draw a Research" held at the premises of the National Research Centre on Human Evolution, 24 September, within the activities falling under the "Night of the researchers." The awards are presented at the Hall of CENIEH by hands of the jury composed of: Jose Maria Bermudez de Castro (Director of CENIEH), Eduardo Saiz (scientific illustrator) and María Amor Barros (Head of Communication and External Relations at CENIEH).

"Conquering the north: the early colonization of Britain"
PARTICIPANTS: Nicholas Ashton, senior curator at the Dept. of Prehistory and Europe, British Museum, Simon Parfitt paleontologist from the Natural History Museum, and Simon Lewis geologist from the University of London.
They are going to talk about the first human settlements in the Britain Islands, particularly about the Pakefield and Happisburgh sites. The lecture will last 45 minutes, and there will be 15 minute question time.

CENIEH, in collaboration with Caja de Burgos, has organized the First Public Lectures Series CENIEH for science dissemination entitled “Human evolution, a science at everybody’s reach” during the year 2008.
