Annapaola Fedato has a master in Natural Science (University of Padua, Italy), obtained in July 2016 with a thesis about visuospatial integration and cognitive archaeology. Since 2017 is a pre-doctoral student, member of the Paleoneurobiology of Hominins group. The main topic of the thesis is cognitive archeology, a multidisciplinary field that investigates the relationship between body and cognition from an evolutionary point of view. It is based on the theory about the perception of the external environment in our species and others. The approach is mainly experimental and it involves different procedures, like the application of geometric morphometric to stone tools or experiments with electro-dermal sensor. Other important experimental topics are hand biometrics and the psychometric study. She writes in the blog “Evolución y Prehistoria”.
