Marina San Miguel Gutiérrez has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cantabria where she did her final degree project in synthesis and characterization of luminescent nanoparticles. In 2018, she finished the master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Barcelona and in 2021, other master's degree in Biology and Biodiversity Conservation at the University of Salamanca. In addition, she has experience in a wide variety of companies. She has collaborated in an R&D project on new metal alloys, she has worked as process engineer regarding the technology adaptation and the production processes optimization of paints and coatings and, finally, as a technology consultant inside a logistic software implementation project. Since 2021, she has been part of the research team of the National Center for Research on Human Evolution of Burgos, as a technician for the Computerized Microscopy and Microcomputed Tomography Lab.
