Erin Scott holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, USA and a Master´s degree in Bioarchaeology at the University of York, UK focusing on laboratory-based experimental archaeology and Prehistory. She then went on to work as a technician at the Max Planck of Geoanthropolgy for various laboratories such as radiocarbon, isotope, botany, and ZooMS. She has extensive experience with handling archaeological samples and preparing them for mass spectrometric analysis. She is now in charge of conducting and teaching protocols for ZooMS and Shotgun Proteomics and running the MALDI-TOF.
