The modern human face dates back to a million year ago

This morning, Jose Maria Bermudez de Castro has presented at a press conference a comparative study of facial growth of the Gran Dolina boy. which has just been published in PLoS ONE entitled 'Facial Morphogenesis of the Earliest Europeans", which has involved a team of researchers from United States and Spain, such us Jose Maria Bermúdez de Castro and Maria Martinón-Torres, researchers from the Anthropology Dental Group of the CENIEH.
